CONTRIBUCIÓN COMO UN TODO, DESDE LA TEMÁTICA PRINCIPAL DEL PROYECTO

Goal 1.2

By 2030, reduce at least by half the proportion of men, women and children of all ages living in poverty in all its dimensions according to national definitions

Justificación:

The EDEM project contributes to Target 1.2 by strengthening the skills of entrepreneurs and businessmen so that their business ideas and enterprises are strengthened and generate jobs and income. To this end, the project transfers successful tools from Colombia to 8 countries of Mesoamerica for implementation, so that the rates of business creation and its life time increase.

Indicator 1.2.1

Proportion of population living below the national poverty line, by sex and age

Justificación:

As the entrepreneurial ecosystems of the 8 beneficiary countries increase their impact on business creation and strengthening, more jobs and income-generating opportunities are created, reducing the number of people below the poverty line. On the other hand, more dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystems strengthen a mindset and culture for entrepreneurship in the region that encourages economic development.

Goal 1.3

Implement nationally appropriate social protection systems and measures for all, including floors, and by 2030 achieve substantial coverage of the poor and the vulnerable

Justificación:

The RED CALLE project contributes to Target 1.3 by improving the living conditions of street people (SP), one of the hardest cores of extreme poverty and exclusion. Red Calle contributes to deepening the in-depth discussion on sectoral policies and the need to strengthen social protection systems. If this dimension is not addressed, there is a risk that the bridge between assistance, social integration and the guarantee of citizenship rights will not be built. The right to decent work and the right to housing, health and education must be guaranteed for SP.

Indicator 1.3.1

Proportion of population covered by social protection floors/systems, by sex, distinguishing children, unemployed persons, older persons, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, newborns, work-injury victims and the poor and the vulnerable

Justificación:

The national diagnostic reports and the inter pairs review that was carried out make it possible to identify the gaps in access, coverage and quality of social protection systems in the six countries with regard to street people. The project allows to increase the vulnerable population covered by social protection systems or minimum levels of protection.

Justificación:

The DIALOGAS project contributes to Target 1.3 by introducing transversal and socio-emotional skills into the social programmes of the project partner countries with the aim of improving access to education and work for the most vulnerable population.

Indicator 1.3.1

Proportion of population covered by social protection floors/systems, by sex, distinguishing children, unemployed persons, older persons, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, newborns, work-injury victims and the poor and the vulnerable

Transferring knowledge and resources to improve the technical and organizational capacities of the participants responsible for carrying out the Project in all its dimensions, namely: scientific, technological and productive.

Indicator 1.A.2

Proportion of total government spending on essential services (education, health and social protection)
