Justificación:
The SEDA project contributes to Target 8.2 by promoting sericulture as a complementary productive activity for low-income populations, encouraging environmentally sustainable practices and adding local value.

Goal 8.3
Promote development-oriented policies that support productive activities, decent job creation, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, including through access to financial services
Justificación:
The EDEM project contributes to Target 8.3 by strengthening the "SICA Emprende" strategy in the beneficiary countries. In some of them, this strategy has been turned into a law of entrepreneurship and the EDEM project strengthens this regulation by providing tools to support entrepreneurship at the service of the entrepreneur in the 5 SICA pillars: mentality and culture, support, education, articulation, financing.
Indicator 8.3.1
Justificación:
The project contributes to this indicator by strengthening the entities belonging to the entrepreneurial ecosystems in their accompaniment of entrepreneurs and microenterprises, in such a way that more people are able to increase their income by starting businesses and creating jobs.
Goal 8.4
Improve progressively, through 2030, global resource efficiency in consumption and production and endeavour to decouple economic growth from environmental degradation, in accordance with the 10-year framework of programmes on sustainable consumption and production, with developed countries taking the lead
Justificación:
The SEDA project contributes to Target 8.4 by promoting sericulture as a complementary productive activity for low-income populations, encouraging environmentally sustainable practices and adding local value. To this aim, professionals are trained in good practices in the field of sustainable sericulture, value addition and design management, including the latest global trends in concepts of resource regeneration, circular economy, etc.

Goal 8.9
By 2030, devise and implement policies to promote sustainable tourism that creates jobs and promotes local culture and products
Justificación:
The MIRADA CIUDADANA project contributes to Target 8.9 through the promotion in all municipalities of Plans for the Promotion of Natural, Heritage or Shopping Tourism, as well as the training of and awareness raising among groups of women entrepreneurs, especially female artisans.
