2017 leaves South-South and Triangular cooperation positively balanced

The "Annual Inter-institutional Meeting: South-South Cooperation and its Contribution to Development", led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and APC-Colombia, was held in Bogotá on December 15, with the participation of national entities, territorial authorities and South-South cooperation partners from the private sector, NGOs and academia.

The meeting was chaired by the Director of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, María Andrea Albán, who explained the presence of South-South cooperation for Colombia's positioning abroad, highlighted cooperation with Argentina and in particular the project on identification of missing persons with that country as a contribution of SSC to post-conflict. She also expressed the importance of this type of cooperation to achieve the objectives of Sustainable Development in the framework of Agenda 2030.
