Capacity Building in Project Formulation
The Mirada Ciudadana Project worked on several meetings and activities in Presidente Franco. In this case, in the wake of the previous work, technical assistance was provided to several NGOs in project formulation and in the identification of funding sources. Likewise, this support was provided to the Association of Tourism Companies of Presidente Franco.
In cooperation with the Municipality of Franco, work was done on the follow-up of actions with women entrepreneurs, as well as on the collection of key information in order to prepare and present support projects to different institutions.
On the other hand, meetings were held with institutions that had expressed their interest in strengthening ties and working with our project. During a working meeting held with authorities of the Alto Paraná Governor's Office, our support was requested in order to improve the work with all the municipalities of the department.
In a very productive meeting with authorities from the Development and Integration Agency of the Itaipu Region (Agencia de Desarrollo e Integración de la Región de Itaipú - ADIRI) - located in the municipality of Hernandarias - the foundations were laid for both ADIRI and the municipality of Hernandarias to be integrated into the training process.
The foundations were laid for the signing of an agreement between the Universidad Privada del Este (UPE) and the Mirada Ciudadana Project to provide technical assistance to groups of small business women and other vulnerable sectors identified by our projects. This agreement arises from the training that enabled UPE to start developing its R.S.E. programme.
