International consultancy for training support (webinars) on grant management for projects of the ADELANTE Programme

Description of the consultancy:

The training sessions were aimed at the coordinating units of each of the eight grants awarded in the first call of the Regional Facility for Cooperation and International Partnership - ADELANTE. The training programme focused on the administrative and financial management of the projects supported by the EU grant mechanism and was adapted to the particularities and needs of each project.

Objective:

Strengthen the management capacities of the grant coordination units, in contractual, administrative and financial matters.

Activities carried out specifically:

Four group webinars were held, for all the projects of the ADELANTE Programme, and individual sessions were held with each of the units coordinating the grants.

Assessments:

The webinars were very useful in order to establish a minimum common basis for the management of ADELANTE projects. The group sessions covered the general principles of grant management, in accordance with the Practical Guide for the management of projects financed by the European Union, while the individual sessions helped clarify doubts according to each project's particular characteristics. These training sessions were supported and accompanied by DEVCO's Contracts and Finance Unit, which allowed not only to have direct information from the source but also to strengthen the relations with the projects.
