Training visits and observation of good institutional practices on Restorative Justice are part of the initiatives developed during the Third Quarter of Execution of the Regional Project to Strengthen Restorative Justice. This program is directed by the Judicial Branch of Costa Rica, led by Judge Doris Arias Madrigal, President of the Criminal Cassation Chamber and financed by the European Union.
In order to extend the networking programs initiated during the 1st International Silk Workshop, on the first Wednesday of November, 25 people participated in a 4-hour day in which the tasks developed in the Physical, Chemical, Surfactant and Silk laboratories were shown with demonstrations of the transformation of the silk cocoon into thread, the Trends Observatory and the specialized library of the INTI-Textiles Centre. The day ended in the Vicuña room of the Centre where an Argentinean and a Mexican craftswoman made demonstrations of silk spinning and weaving.
The International Seminar "Connecting technical and methodological advances with the design of public policies for the development of Transversal and Socio-emotional Competencies throughout the life cycle: A need and a challenge" was held in Santiago from 18 to 20 October.
