ADELANTE Programme: Triangular Cooperation European Union Latin America and the Caribbean

The Ibero-American General Secretariat, Rebeca Grynspan, presented last Friday in Brazil, for the first time in its 10 year history, the "Report on South-South Cooperation in Ibero-America 2017". The publication produced by the Segib gathers together all the initiatives that are developed in this area within the framework of the Ibero-American community.

The choice of Brazil in this case responds to the "firm commitment" of that country with the community formed by Spain, Portugal, Latin America and Andorra. "Brazil is an indispensable ally of the Ibero-American space and a great protagonist of cooperation among the countries of our region, leading the burden in Ibero-American South-South Cooperation along with Argentina and Mexico", as expressed by Costa Rican Rebeca Grynspan, in charge of the General Secretariat since 2014.
