The Dialogas project carried out the Workshop "Intersectoral articulation of plans and programs for the strengthening of the CTSE", with the objective of exchanging experiences and studying examples of the implementation of transversal and socio-emotional competences (CTSE). On this occasion, officials from the governments of Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay and Uruguay participated and the support of the Italian agency CISP. This initiative was carried out between the 22nd and 24th of May of this year in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The host institution was the National Institute of Technological Education (INET) with the technical assistance of the SES Foundation and the Technical Cooperation Committee on transversal and socio-emotional competences (MESACTS).

The objective of the event was to deepen the dynamics related to the objectives of strengthening the CTSE throughout life and to have an articulating vision of the different public policies. For this, the Argentine and Chilean cases in this matter were presented to be discussed and compared with the experiences of the other participating countries. At the end of the three days of work, a synthesis document was prepared with the guidelines for the implementation and strengthening of the CTSE through an intersectoral articulation. Through this input it is expected "to deliver concrete tools for the construction of sectoral tables on these competences in each of the countries of the region.

This document will continue to be worked by the institutional representatives participating in the Workshop through the forum implemented on the MESACTS web page that has the support of the Dialogas Project. http://www.mesacts.com/foro/ The next activity of the Dialogas project is considered for July 23, 24 and 25 and will deal with the qualification and productive sector frameworks.
