EVALÚA - Evaluating Government Policies in Latin America and the Caribbean

Annual event of the EVALÚA Group

On December 17 and 18, the annual regional meeting of the EVALÚA project will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay. The meeting will have the participation of the countries that are part of the project, as well as three invited countries: Chile, Mexico and Brazil. It is planned to have the participation of representatives of key regional organizations such as the IDB, the CAF and the United Nations System (UN).

The objective of this meeting is to update many of the aspects that have been worked on by the institutions that make up the group, to make the work of EVALUA known to other countries and to foster a closer link between the participating institutions in order to propose a broader Regional Program that integrates budget cycles, planning and evaluation.

Within the framework of this event will be presented the recent experiences of evaluation in interventions developed in the region, as well as the innovative lines in the field of the evaluation of public interventions. On the other hand, the foundations will be laid to develop lines of work for a possible Regional Policy Evaluation Program for Latin America and the Caribbean.
