It is my pleasure to introduce the publication of the document for the systematisation of the ADELANTE Programme, which systematises its first phase of execution, covering the period between 2016 and 2020.

Classical political economy states that human beings are what is known as "homus economicus" which, put simply, means that we make decisions by rationally balancing the cost and benefit of our actions, so that the latter is greater than the former. However, since the middle of the 20th century, it has been proven experimentally that our actions often deviate from this way of acting.

A second version of the Virtual Training Diploma Course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation given by EAN University was launched, with participants from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Panama, among other countries.

Within the framework of Triangular Cooperation, last Thursday June 18th, the Integrated Model of Business Services (MISE) was launched at the Chamber of Commerce of Palmira in a virtual way, through the Zoom platform.

Textile Engineer Natalia Salvatierra from the National Institute of Industrial Technology was selected to participate in the "Post Cocoon Technology" international training at the Central Silk Technological Research Institute (CSTRI), Bangalore, India, organised by ITEC: Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation.

On May 14th, the "Initiatives to support businesspeople and entrepreneurs in times of crisis" Round table was held virtually and through the Meet platform. This event was promoted by the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation (APC-Colombia) and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, in which the partner Chambers of the EDEM Project participated as speakers, presenting the strategies adopted from their position, to help the business community overcome the current situation and look for alternatives to promote economic development.

The Faculty of Agronomy of the National University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is one of the partner institutions of the Seda Project which carries out important research work in silkworm genetics and is responsible for the national supply of silkworm eggs, one of the critical inputs for the silkworm farming activity.
